SamLife was started to inform Magicians of the Life Member Program of the Society of American Magicians. We hope to occasionally include profiles of Life Members and news of the S.A.M.

BILL ANDREWS
MAGICIAN OF THE YEAR
On April 27, 2002, Parent Assembly #1 presented William E. Andrews the MAGICIAN OF THE YEAR AWARD. Bill performed a delightful egg routine with two young members of the audience. The laughter and joking was enjoyed by all present.
LIFE MEMBER RECEPTION
On Friday, July 5, 2002, the President Elect, Ed Thomas, will host a reception for all Life Members at his suite in the hotel.
The time will be from about 5:00 PM until about 6:15 PM. This will give us time to visit without disrupting dinner and the evening show.
***IMPORTANT - I will try to include an invitation in the welcome package, however, since we dont know hotel room numbers, you may have to find the location from Ed or me. The girls at the SAM Gifts booth will have the room number too. They know everything!

Christopher Bontjes was the winner of the free registration to our New York City, Centennial Convention!
All life members were eligible for the drawing at the National Council Meeting on April 20, 2002.
